I probably wouldn't have even bothered writing up this trail because of the general lack of pictures, but the following "STUCK" pictures made me decide to do it anyways. There is a water crossing (across the South Platte) that is normally quite deep - and got interesting when covered with ice. The water was about 31-33 degrees when this Blazer with approximately a 6" lift tried to cross through using the watery route... he didn't quite make it all the way across. His brother had to jump in to hook up my winch cable to his vehicle but we did get him out eventually!
There was a little obstacle that had some moguls. I was told my tires got
about a foot in there though I don't have any pictures to prove it.
