Well folks, as some of you know, I'll be riding in the Tour de Cure bike event tomorrow. Believe it or not, my fat ass will be attempting 50-miles! Good luck tomorrow. The fight against diabetes means a lot to my family. It has put my mom through a lot the last five years and espcially this last year. It's also put tons of pressure on the rest of our family. At this point my mom needs somebody else at home 24 hours a day.

I'll definitely keep that in mind as I ride, Jeff. My sympathies about your mother - I understand it can be quite a struggle...
