hey, it looks like i wont be able to purchase new tires for a long time, and my tires are trash, everytime i take off they cherp or spin, i have no traction when its even a little wet, so i was woundering if any one had a set that would fit and have more tread then mine do? and if they would be willing to see them go so thay could have more space?

A buddy of mine has a set of tires with about half treadlife still on them. They're 225 15's I think. If that size will work for ya, I'll ask him what he wants for them. I know he'll let 'em go for real cheap since he lifted his Ranger & won't put 'em back on.

I have one 30x9.50 Allterain type tire. It's a brand new one and I just have one. But it's yours if you can find another 3-4 to go with it. Plus it should be bigger by an inch then your stockers. :)

I have a set of four 235/75 R-15 tires that are in good condition. They came on my truck when I bought it. I don't know what size tires you run

Hey Smoothy, I talked to him today about those tires. He already sold them.
Sorry 'bout that.
Check out Urbans' post above, that size would look better than 225's anyway.

Hey Smooth. I'll be out in Englewood this evening hanging with an old girlfriend. I can throw the tires in the truck and you can have a look at them. Give me a number and let me know where I can meet you. I dont know when I'll be by exactly, but it sounds like you're home most the time. To be honest, I need to look at them again before I can know price. I believe I was thinking $50 for the set before but like I said, I'd need to look at them again. They are in good shape tread wise. I'll also look online this afternoon and see if I'm out of line on price (which I very well might be).

Alright. $50 looks reasonable, but I'm going to go down to $35..... Cheaper if they're not as good as I remember.

try going to places like big 0 and discount tires and see if you can find a set of used. I've got a used tire there once for my spare, it was practicly prandnew and i think it was $30.

Well how much bigger are they than your current tires? What do you think? According to this site, it looks like a negative.
http://www.oly4x4.com/fitmentguide.htm
It also looks like your stock tires should be 215/75-15 which is more like a 28".
It's a tough call man. Maybe you could get free tires and invest in a cheap 3" body lift. ;)

03-05-2005, 03:15 PM
cool, i read back over my first post about tires like how ever many months ago it was.. and people said i could stuff em in there. so i told the guy i would take em! im gonna have tires!!!!!!!! yeah!!!
smoothengagement
03-05-2005, 03:17 PM
well look at my pictures! thats with 235/75/15.... granted the damn things are practically racing slicks! how cheap could i get a body lift for?
UrbanCowboy
03-05-2005, 04:02 PM
235s are like 29 inches. Good luck. I'm sure you'll find a way to get em in there. I sure hope they work for you. A body lift should run about $120.

03-05-2005, 04:16 PM
HMMMMMM. that might be an idea! if these tires are good, and will last at least 6mo.(the bald ones have lasted almost 4) i might do that! i want to get lifted anyway! ok who wants to help me, if i can get a lift?!?????

I knew a guy a long time ago that used hockey pucks for a body lift. Not that I would reccomend such a thing, but certainly is cheap.

ok man cool!!! it just sucks that everything keeps falling trough.... i need good tires, and i dont have the money to buy new ones! i hate being poor!
Sounds like maybe a trip to pull-n-save is in order.
I know that a tire+wheel from them is 12.99 with a $5 deposit for the rim.
4 tires + wheels + admission should be just under $73
