This sounds like a lot of fun. I'll only be a spectator though.

I know its a little bit more to show instead of just being a spectator, but we need to get as many trucks up there as possible, last year there was so few that it was sad. Even if you don't think your truck is show quality, i've had my mostly stock 2wd up there, its fun you sit around and talk to everyone, we can take in the grill and do a bbq, it ends up being a really good day. Everyone should try to show!

Sounds like fun, but you said those two dirty 4 letter words, "Phil Long." After working for them for 1 1/2 years, I'll have nothing to do with them. Although, I could show up in the parking lot with my truck, I have no problem promoting RMFTC! Besides, maybe I could get me a MedVed emblem or something  .

If you show would the truck ahve to be there the day before? Or could you just drive in that morning. I have never showed Naomi and she would still be "under construction" but by June I should have a lot of eye candy in place.
I might go for it

Just show up...I think if you show, you gotta park in a certain spot. But If i remember right from last yeah, you buy in the show the same as the races, at the gate the day of the show/races.

You dont have to show up the day before, just show up the day of. They have "sections" where your class of vehicle is supposed to park, and for the most part it gets followed, but they always find some way to screw the trucks over, and put em in some far away spot... hopefully this year will be different. Theres no reserved parking though. I can't wait, hopefully I might even win a trophy this year :).

I agree with Matt. Just show up with the group. None us have trucks like Matts. The more people that show up the better.

They dont haVE reerved parking, but dont park in the racers pit areas...This pisses them off....I think this year there will be enough people racing with the club i race with to fill 1 to 1.5 rows of pits...

Last year there was this really sweet 77 ford 150 with a blown 390 i think, in it...I loved that truck.

Is there any type or class that can enter for show? Because like I said my explorer dosint have any good mods on it yet still stock just upgraded the wheels and sound so far. I dont want to try to show something thats just going to get booed out of the park. Let me know whats going on thanks Jason

mattadams

Typically they lump trucks/suvs together and there is no mild/wild category, they are all in the same class. But if you pay your money, they let you show :). I showed my truck there several years ago when it had like a brushguard, rollbar, and that was about it.

Thanks to everyone that made it out... it was just me and 2000xlt that showed, but it was still fun.
Unfortunately, my truck didn't even place, but thats ok, it was up against some serious competition, a completely restored perfect condition 1957 tow truck, a bronco with custom trailer that as long as he is at a show I'm at, I'm sure I won't win anything, LOL.
But it was still fun. Thanks to all those who came.
