This hail is killing me. All I can do is pray that it doesn't kill my hood & roof. Unfortunately I can't fit in the garage, so all I can do is sit and watch. I picked up a couple of pieces about the size of golf balls, from the floor of the garage, and it just made me want to cry.

Hopefully everyone else isn't having the same problem. I love the rain, but the hail can stay away.

I got home to find my truck covered in little dents :(. At least its mainly the roof and hood, didn't spot too many on the fenders.

That sucks. Here at work all we received so far is heavy rain.

well I called my insurance company, they are going to send a claims adjuster out, and I will probably have it done at the same time they are repainting...

I saw the news when I got home and was surprised to see how bad it was to the south.

yeah, I literally thought when I was driving around that the hail was going to come right through the windshield! Anyways, the more I think about it, I was planning on buying a custom hood anyways, my deductable is $500 and the hood would be just under that. So if they pay to take care of the roof repainting and the painting of the hood and so forth, I'll be a happy camper :).

Not a bad deal. What type of hood are you interested in? I've looked and it will probably be a project I'll do for next Spring. I'll probably go with a cowl style hood and so far I like the Reflexxion and Cervinis. The one thing is they are made out of two different materials. The Reflexxion is steel and the Cervinis is fiberglass. I know the fiberglass is lighter, but I worry about cracking. I have some time before I make a decision.

Wow, that hood looks great. Now I almost wish I would need a new one. My deduct. is only 250, so I wouldn't mind paying $250 for that.
