Hey all. I'm going to try and come here a little. Club 4x4ord and RMFTC just merged cause the club sort of died and I wasn't able to plan too many trips anymore.
Anyway. I wanted to post some pics and movies from our last Moab trip last June (i know it's been a while).

Yeah, we always go the 1st or second week in June. It's not the too hot stage yet, but enough so that no one is in your way on the trails. I hate having to wait for 2-more people in front of you to get past an obsacle.
Elephant Hill is one of my favs, but its nothing now that I have my lift. Rose Garden Hill was fun too, but Top of the World was sweet with the sunset.
This year I'll hopefully be doing the harder trails.

Do you ever go down for the safari? I will be down ther the 25,26 &27 of march. I've been trying for the last 3 years to get down there but I was always doing something else to the ranger(1st year engine swap---2nd year t-case swap----3rd year bigger axles w/ lockers) so this year everything looks like a go..........P.S. nice looking explorer, you ought to think about doing the Chinamans run with us in May.......

I have a buddy who goes for the Safari every year. He should be out there this year. If he gets his act together, he'll be in his custom built Datsun pickup, otherwise he'll be in a modded Pathfinder. I hate going to places like that when their packed. I wouldnt mind watching but it's too crouded to wheel IMO.

I'm planing to go with you all in may if I can get the time off work.
As far as the Safari goes. It used to be fun when I went with my parents, but now it's just a bunch of drunks trashing the place and its too overcrowed for me.

I won't go near the safari. Heard too many bad stories. I prefer to go when I have the trail mainly to myself (or at least I did back in my hardcore wheeling days). It's ok to have to wait for a group of your friends to get through an obstacle, but to wait for 50 strangers to get through it sucks. I can sit in traffic at home, LOL.
by the way, this trail run and others are now available here at our own Trail Runs section... the videos still link to 4x4ord, but eventually will get them over (maybe... LOL). Check it out: http://rmftc.com/trailruns.html
