Pavement is over rated, when we did mine we were laying down on loose gravel.

The carport on the side of my house is always available to people. It's tall enough for most trucks.

Don't forget to check out maxfund, since they are our charity and all :). Maybe you should wait until we start volunteering with MaxFund (first meeting is next Saturday morning!) and fall in love with one of the doggies there (that's waht I'm worried about myself, but my apartment can really only hold one dog, LOL)

03-05-2005, 08:36 AM
we've already talked to them and that's where we're going. we'll be there at 11. we fell in love with one of the dogs on the website and we double checked that he's still there, and they told me that he's a great dog, to definitely come by and take him for a walk.

Thats awesome. I love dogs. Good luck with getting it. Hopefully the dogs will get along, so we can have playdates and stuff, LOL.
I thought the idea of a doggie palydate was kind of funny, and someone was telling me theres actually a website out there that you can coordinate playdates with your dogs.

Hey Jake, it was my pleasure to help out. It was actually pretty fun. having all the dogs there really made the mood lighter and I really enjoyed being able to work with them nearby. I love dogs.
Dom, your new dog is a sweetheart. He'll get better on the biting thing with time, I wouldn't stress. Hopefully you got him a good bath :). Maggie is all tuckered out!

03-06-2005, 08:56 PM
Thank you so much for letting us bring him, Jake. I think it was really really good for him.
Matt, thanks so much. He's getting a little better on the biting. we just have to be firm with him. The bath was um.... interesting, but lets just say the house did get a good scrubbing afterwards. He was mad for a while, but he got over it.

Did anyones elses dog get yarfy afterwords or was that just Magie? She had the runs a bit last night and then woke me up at about 4am with that famous "gurgling" noise... I got her outside before most of it hit, but did have some cleanup this morning. I think it was from when she was licking the grease off the ground, made her tummy ichy.

I thought Hunter would get an upset stomach, but he didn't. It suprised me. He just slept the whole way home, and then once inside, he just flopped down and went to sleep in his kennel.
I left him alone so, he gets a bath today.
BTW, thanks alot for letting all of us bring our dogs Jake. I think they all had fun.
