Club t-shirts thoughts

OK, I know the idea of having screenprinted t-shirts has come up lately. As I mentioned before, I am all in favor of doing this, but one of the ramifications of doing it screenprinted means, things have to be done in a bigger quantity at once, and have ot be pretty much the same.
I know in the past I have done orders of shirts where we'll have multiple colors offered, but it makes it more expensive and also a LOT more work on me as well as on the t-shirt company, which comes out in higher prices.
If we can all agree on some sort of a design and color, we might be able to get these for fairly cheap. So here's my thought... if you had to pick one shirt color, that everyone would have, what color would that be. Obviously I know if the color is one most people don't like, they won't buy the shirt, and I want to make the most people possible happy.
This would be just a run of t-shirts. it wouldn't effect the polos, jackets, etc. that can be custom embroidered in any color, just shirts. Unique colors, etc. could still be ordered via embroidery.
One cool thing about having shirts all the same color is its easier to spot members of your group at events, etc.

My personal vote is either for a Navy color shirt or a gray/ash shirt. Navy is good because it is the official Ford color, and it also matches the RMFTC staff jackets and hats. That and its a cool color. LOL.

I would love a screenprinted shirt and my vote is for NAVY BLUE as well... i like the darker colored tshirts!

yeah, darker colored shirt are my favorites too.use the logo from the website here in white. on the back make it huge and on the front make a smaller print of the same on the upper right side of the shirt like where the polo horse is on polo shirts!!! thats my idea anyway! :headbang:

Color doesn't matter to me.

I personally like stuff the brightest I can find, but I know that is the exception, not the rule, so whatever you decide works for me (assuming they come in fat kid sizes too).

Also, just curious how many people would actually order shirts. I'd have to order a quantity of about 40 or 50 to make the price anywhere near reasonable, so hopefully some folks would be interested in ordering 1 or 2...

Well, I guess I have to be the sole voice of dissent so far. I'd prefer the ash/gray shirt with the logo in blue myself. Partly because summer is right around the corner and it's nice to wear lighter colored shirts when it's hot (doesn't soak up the sun). I'd still order one or two of the navy shirts though - if that's what everyone agrees on.

For the design, I like fordnbikes idea but I'm not sure of his placement on the front. I'm guessing when he says "upper right," that's as he looks at the shirt on a table - not while being worn? Wearing the shirt, that would make the front logo on the upper left (over your heart) and where it belongs, IMO.

im on for the navy color, but i dont really care, as long as its not RED or YELLOW, if i can come up with the founds, i could probally go for 2 or 3, one or two for me and one for the wife!

I would be in on buying 1,2 0r 3 shirts. I like the dark colors, Navy blue works good for me. Like the idea of have something on front and back.

Oh yeah, I'm kinda with MMPC. I like the ash over the navy but it's not too big a deal. :) I do like black though (it's a biker thing :D )

It sounds like the navy's have it. Hopefully as demand increases I can have another run done in another color, but it is just a whole lot cheaper/easier to do it this way. What do you think? it's just a demo.

Looks good - my only suggestion is perhaps a bit smaller on the front logo. If it's positioned wrong, it could look really strange. That or keep it the same size and center it for a "different" look?

Matt, as of 9:15 this evening i pre-orderd the quantity that i said i would order, i hope this helps out!!! I know you said you had only had 5 or 6 orders, how many orders do you need to have? Also, when were you planning on ordering the shirts?

Also, it was pointed out that there was no "size" option... I changed the product number on it and that somehow got removed, so its back now, sorry about that!

Also, if you are ordering by check, that is fine no worries there, I would ask that you still go through the online store and for "Payment method" instead of "Paypal" choose "Mail order", it will print out a form you can send in and will make it easier for me to keep track of the orders. Thanks!
