OK, we are now listed as a 4-wheel parts "preferred club", which basically means, we can get discounts on goodies there too.
Here's how it works... members of the club can get special cards, from 4-wheel parts, that allow them to get a 5% discount on goods and services (parts and install) at any of the 4-wheel parts locations nationwide.
Then, annually 4-wheel parts figures out how much RMFTC members spent at the store, and cut a check for 2% of that amount, to RMFTC which would help me to continue to cover site costs, etc. and any "extra" could be given to our official charity (this is one of the reasons I wanted to get the charity thing going). So, say your going to drop $1000, you'll save $50, and 4-wheel parts will send $20 to the site at the end of the year. not too shabby of a deal eh?
They have also offered up their store area after-hours for club meets, etc. if we decide to have them there and even offered to do some goodies, door-prizes etc. if we decide to do so.
I am still working on how to get the cards taken care of, I can either submit a list of our members that want one, or when people go in they can request one and one will be mailed to them. Hopefully I"ll have more details on that soon.

This is certainly not tot ake away from the 10% discount we receive at Off-Road innovations. In fact I'll be taking my truck into ORI soon to get the gears done, etc. but its good ot have multiple choices of companies offering us goodies, and the 4-wheel parts deal actually helps out the club as well.

Not that I'll be able to buy anything real soon, but nex time I go in for a rotation, I'll request my card.

Sweet deal Matt.

4WP is much closer than the south ORI location. Any word on the same discount up north?

I still shop with them. No Labor, just parts. As far as I know ORI is not in my neighborhood. I definately need a car.

Once I have the specifics on it, I will let you know. As far as I know, you can say you are with this club and you want the card and they will get you one (though they might have to mail it). Whether they'll make it retro I dont know, but theres one thing I've learned in life, you do not get what you do not ask for :).

Wow, if I knew about this a year ago (and knew about RMFTC also) I coulda got the site and/or charities a little mula. I bought my Swamper Iroks & Street Locks there. A few months ago, I bought new wheels & tires for my wifes Bronco. Hmm, at least I know now. :D Another buddy of mine is planning to fix up his Exploder soon, I'll have to get him to join up here. He keeps saying he will but he rarely has access to a computer.

Hey Matt, what about asking them to sponsor the Chinamans run in May? If they have some magnetic decals we could put 'em on our trucks for that weekend. Maybe they could donate some things like Hella or ProComp lights, a HiLift, Shocks, etc. that we could raffle off as door prizes for the participants. Good idea or no? What do ya think? Just a thought. :)

That'll help me out when I decide to lift my truck....snce there is a 4-Wheel Parts just down the street from me (roughly 70ish and Federal)

Theres an ORI off of I-36 and Wads eh? Must've not been paying attention, since I used to drive up Wadsworth EVERY day for a long time to take my mom to work....

Looks like it time to start saving some dough so I can carry out my plans....for cheaper than I thought no less :D

That is great, bummer it was not back in AUG, I spent about 2700.00 there. That discount could have benefited me and the club. Oh well, still plenty more to buy from them ( tax refund and bonus coming soon )
