I was tossing around a few ideas in my head last night about the shirts. One is we could use the generic logo (the one without the oval/mountains) as the crest on the front, then use the big design with oval/mountains on the back... or use the same design for both, or make a whole new design for the back. I kind of liked the 5 truck design we used on the FTW shirts, but I dont want these shirts to look the same as the FTW shirts.
Thoughts/ideas?

Also, there are a few choices for making the shirts. The one that is the easiest on me and requires me to put no upfront money, is cafepress. The only problem with cafepress is the shirts do tend to be a bit pricy (I think they are about $15 for a regular shirt, if I remember right) but they also have a huge variety of options such tanktops, sweatshirts, coffee mugs, mouse pads, hats, thongs, etc. and again, it would require very little time and effort on my part. You also can only get shirts in white or grey, no custom colors. The other thought is I might be able tog et the shirts run by the same place I did the last shirt run through, which would be a little cheaper but require the money to eb pre-oprdered and any "over-orders" for future use I'd have to pay for (obviously)... I know FTW ran some shirts through cafepress and some said the design turned out too small so I may set up a store, buy a 3XL shirt and see how it looks before making it "public" to everyone, to make sure that doesn't turn out to be a problem..

I like the idea of the logo on the front, and then a new design on the back. That said, I have absolutely no creative talent, so can't expect it to be done by others.

As long as it says who we represent, I'll buy it.

Matt has already heard my opinions on the topic but even still I was told to say something on the site about the shirts... I guess to get y'all to say more...

*definately don't use the image with the 5 trucks that was used for the shirts for "that other site" ... you want to be totally separate from them. I think I finally must have gotten Matt to agree with me on that even though he just LOVES that image... it's just gotta go

*I also submitted to him, when he was creating the logo, another version of it which he wasen't too sure about... but aparently the sticker guy thought it was the best looking one... Matt didnt let y'all see that design probably b/c he was afraid his ideas would get beaten by a girl's... (so this isnt much for ideas on shirts since the logo is now set but I needed to speak my peace about the "better logo")

*If I were to design the shirt with the images that are already used on the website (since my idea was shot down by Matt b/c it was better than his ideas) I would use the logo that just has the letters for the front "pocket" and use the oval image on the back of the shirt (I think thats what matt said)

*as far as companies go, I dont care... ill pay a buck or two more... whatever is easiest for Matt since he's bustin his butt with everything. Although it would be nice to get a DARK gray shirt... no one ever has those anymore... oh yeah and longsleeve Ts too... big fan of those.

Thats all I really feel about the topic.

I set up a real generic shop at cafepress.com (its www.cafeshops.com/rmftc for those that are curious) but don't buy anything just yet until I know if the logos are going to look ok on the shirts or not... thats just using the basic oval design, nothing fancy yet... don't want to spend a lot of time setting up a store, etc. if the shirts don't look right.

Looks good to me. Let us know what they 'really' look like once you get one.

One thing I can say for cafepress, they are definately efficient. I ordered my shirt yesterday after finally having some funds available (yesterday was payday) and they already sent me something saying it was shipped out. So hoepfully it'll be here soon :).
