MitchMCSE pointed out a few ways to help the site get some better search engine recognition, and I needed to re-write the main into page anyways (Congrats Tray, I owe you a free window sticker, dont let me forget!), as well as do some alternate image codes etc. for users that might not have image capabilities or if images aren't work. All pages should now be updated!

Looks good Matt, but I have a couple of questions.

How come the forums link takes you to coloradofordtruckclub.com/forums, and club info takes you to rockymountainfordtruckclub.com/clubinfo, but the rest of the links are all to rmftc.... pages?

As for the sticker, how about we just consider the center cap my 'prize', and you can give the sticker to someone who currently doesn't have one.

Good question Tray, I'm glad you asked. Because the site currently uses four domains that all "link" back to RMFTC... coloradofordtruckclub.com, cofordtruckclub.com, and rockymountainfordtruckclub.com are all "mirror" domains for rmftc.com. The extra domains help with internet searches (for example, if someone is searchign for Colorado Ford Truck Club, it might show them that domain first because it has all those words in it, even though rmftc.com technically has all those words in there too, it helps "bump it up" a bit, or so I've been told anyway. And often, search engines just follow links on a site to whatever you have, and add those links as well, so its a bit of a background process, that will hopefully help with search engine recognition.

Ahhh, now I get it.

I didn't even think of the inter-domain links working to boost your activity with the bots. Brilliant I say.

That is correct Matt. The more sites that has links to rmftc.com helps boost the site in the search engines...both internal and external. So by me adding this to my site...and everyone else who has helps bring this up. Also if the site is listed in the other(ftw) in the forums....it will also boost it.

They wouldn't allow it to be posted over at FTW. The guys there would most likely ban whoever posted it, and then delete the post.

Like Tray said, don't bother posting it to FTW. It won't last long. FTW is not exactly "pro-competition", their site is all things to all people (so they think) and they don't think there is any need for other sites out there. Which is why they have about 15 different sites, many of which (like PT Cruiser Zone, Hummer World, etc. they have less users then this board does, and no one is active. They think they can just set up any site with a basic template of FTW and it'll have the same success, they don't realize it takes PEOPLE to make a site a success, without people, its nothing.
