Was at the Ford Truck World website and noticed they have a discount parts program that costs $10.00 to join. Has anyone joined this and is it worth it? My new F150 will be here next week and I just need to get some mud flap, bug deflector, vent visors for right now. Might be chaeper to buy off of e bay?

Check with Phil Long Ford.

We get a discount there for being part of RMFTC. No fees just to get a discount.

If that doesn't work for you, I'm sure you could do better that their discount just by shopping wisely.

Green, just as a bit of history. I used to be "staff" over at E.W., so I got that membership for free, and never once used it, it was worthless. Anytime I was looking for something, they either didn't have it, or their price was much higher then I could find just by going to a local shop where I wouldn't have to pay shipping. My advice, check out their prices first, and shop around...

The discount at Phil Long Ford has saved me probably a few hundred dollars.

OK, thanks, thats what I needed to know. I have a whole speadsheet of different companies with prices, so far E Bay is the cheapest for what I need right now.

Was just llooking for a bugshield and vent visors for right now. Will be looking for mudgaurds soon though. I also noticed that on E Bay there are several 2 1/2" lift kits for the front to even it out with the back. They run about $110.00 and seem fairly simple. Any comments on them? Seems to be just a block that that connects to top of strut.

Today I ordered a headlight/fog light switch from Phil Long. Their regular price was about $12 less than the dealer in Broomfield, then they took off an additional 11% off the price for our RMFTC discount.

I'll be using the Phil Long discount tommorow for new axle seals. Finally doing the bearings.
