I saw a post that stated I could add F150 Coil spacers, and an add-a-leaf for my 92XL. Is this possible?

Sure you can. I'm not quite sure what, if any, complications it might cause. It's basically a ghetto suspension lift. The coil spring (big hunk of Urethane) would lift the front and the add-a-leaf would lift the rear. You can get them most places and they're pretty affordable. That doesn't make them the right answer IMO.
Yeah, you can get them locally at probably any 4 wheel shop, and maybe even just your neighborhood auto parts store.
As for their effects - spacers are supposed to allow you to keep the stock ride quality, but yet add some lift. It is highly recommended that you not take your vehicle off-road while using them though. You could potentially lose your entire spring if you flexed too much, and had one wheel completely extended.
As for the add-a-leafs, they will give a bit stiffer ride in the rear, but not much effect other than that.

The add-a-leaf is fine for the back, but whatever you do, DO NOT block the front coils...buy new coils. Some people swear by blocking the coils, but i DO NOT. Ive heard too many a horror ( glad i got the spelling right) stories about blocks falling out the first time the front suspension is flexed greatly...I dunno, its really up to you, but if you wanted to lift the truck, id say the add a leaf in the back, and new , taller, coils in the front would be the way to go about it.
Im not sure how much the add-a-leaf would actually lift the truck compared to just allowing you to tow/carry a heavier load with less 'squat' of the rear.

I think how much lift it provides, depends on what size you order. If you order a 3", it should lift it about 3" from where it is now. Not necessarily 3" from stock, as the current ones may sag, but it should lift it as advertised.

I did F150 spacers under the coils, and extended shackles for the rear.
get ~2"
here is a link for the spacers:

I've been doing a lot of research for the cherokee, and the number one thing I've been reading about is beefing up your existing leaf packs. I'm assuming you can do this to any vechicle. All you have to do is find a donor vechicle with the same width springs. Here's the write up I've been studying. Its just another option http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/Suspension_Steering_Axles_and_Brakes/Budget_Lift.htm From what I have heard the ride is a lot stiffer with the aal and beefier springs. i would stay away from the spacers as well.

Thanks for all the replies. I will look into it.

do not do it.....
I did it on Ranger last year. It throws the alignment on the front way off cuz the springs start to curve. I had to get Drop axle pivot brackets to try to line up the front axle, then I needed radius arm drop brackets.... so I took them out, and did a real lift.

blocks will add some good height. It will not have any more chance to break than stock. i asked my friend at the dealer. Just don't add a block and a leaf in the back it can break the shakels.
