I broke down today and got the 6" SPOA kit for my Samurai. I got the kit with the over the top (OTT) steering and shocks (not even gonna mess with a "Z-bar) Should be here next week then the fun begins. I am gonna go with a set of 32" radial Pro-Comp mud terrain (TSL isn't making tires right now, DAMNIT) on black street lock rims. I will update as progress starts. That is all....

Those are fun! Buddy has one, they are amazing wheeling rigs....just not much power.

Finally gonna do it, eh Mark?
Just something I want to point out............... The sidewalls on the Pro Comp tires are terrible as in "thin" when compared to other M/T's such as BFG or Goodyear ;)

Thanks Larry, I wanted to go with the TSL's but 4 Wheel Parts didn't have any. Im kind of limited to tire size in the 32" unless I add a BL, which I will eventually and after the 1.6 or TDI diesel conversion and R&P upgrade. I will still use my Explorer and Ranger for the heavy wheeling.

Thats how she sits tonight. Still have the new brake lines and steering to do. I went with the OTT (Over The Top) steering with this kit, so hopefully she will be mobile after this week.

by the looks of the spring bushings (the fronts were nothing like these, I think they are the originals), I ordered some new ones in, of course can't find any here, so it will be Monday before they get here. But heres a few more pics......

She will sit about this high when its done (a big change from where it was at). Still have to get the other side off, and all the bushings pressed out(I knew my press would come in handy someday). It should go back together fairly easy after everything else gets here though.

I finally got my bushings today (dang UPS doesn't deliver to the new house until after 4pm). I had to cut the front spring bushing completely out with my torch. The springs are back under it now though. No pics, but I will throw some up tomorrow night (I might have it sitting on the rubber).

Me and Jr. took it for a spin around the block tonight (it was dark out so no flex pics yet), and it still rides rougher than a buckboard. I think some new springs are in her near future. Here she it all done up, with one run on her.....
