I had alot of fun at Chinamans Gulch and for some crazy reason I have the urge to get out again, ASAP. I would be open for suggestions as to what trail/s to run and would not be opposed to going back to China and running the other direction. Anybody????

Justin, I made it over to Front Range this week and it looks like they also have a run planed on Sunday. The trails look decent and could be fun with some snow. :) I'm not sure the budget will allow for more fuel money this weekend though. Anywhere closer you would want to go?

Yeah, I'll go anywhere. We could just go run Slaughter House, thats not bad with a little snow and pretty close.

I was thinking about making a trip out to C.O.R.E one of these days too. I'm not to sure if its open during the winter months tho. There are a few obsticals out there I want to tackle now that Im locked up and have a little more ground clearance.

Bummer, can't go Sunday either. We have a family function that day :)

If you go, take pics so I can live vicariously through your wheeling trip(s) :D

If you go someplace close to springs I might be in. Like rainbow falls or something like that.

And core is closed for the season, at least that's what the site says.

I would like to go somewhere close. Ive done slaughter house so many times now that Im thinking I could do it in the dark, it is a fun quick tral though. What about somewhere up around the Dumont/St. Marys area? Dont know about how much snow is up there now.....

I know what you mean about Slaughter House, I seem to always fall back on that trail. I have done that at night before a couple of times. It was better before it got groomed.

I'm not sure of the snow but Spring Creek would be cool, I've been on that trail 3 times and never finished it. Also Kingston Peak is near St. Marys but could have a lot of snow by now. Bill Moore Lake maybe, I have not been up there in over 6 years.

I think our issue is going to be snow. All of those trails are above 9000 ft and rated above 4, could be fun! Sheridan Hill looks like it would be easier but it is high up there as well. I dont know, I will have to sleep on it.

Anytime anyone needs info about Kingston Peak, Yankee Hill, Cumberland/Washoe Gulch, Hamlin Gulch, Apex, Rollinsville, Rainbow Rd.(Fall River Res., Chinns & Sherwin), Loch Lomond, etc., accesses, I can certainly be asked! Kingston Peak access, from Alice for instance, is 2 minutes from my house!

St. Mary's area has anywhere from 6-15+" depending where you are at, and even deeper in wind drift areas. Most of the trails are winch fests now. My neck is out of whack or I would have gone out Sunday to see how the trails are filling in. I know Kingston is a no go before the rock house. Needing those mattracks...

Hey Shawn, I did make it but I was running late getting to the meeting place. Turns out the group was delayed because of a couple rigs had issues, so I lucked out meeting them at the 7-11. You could have rode along no problem, You could have posted up on CCB too.

The trail had very little snow most of the way but there were deep spots to be found. We did'nt make it all that far due to trail tech and a later start but the day was great and the sun was shinning, hard to beat this time of year. Sorry guys I did'nt take any good pics.

I cant seem to get my fill of wheeling lately so a planned trail run might be in order. Anybody game for one in the next couple weeks??? Lets plan one.

Justin, I haven't had a lot of time to keep up with everything on the forums lately. School starts tomorrow, so I will only have some weekends if I am not working to go for a few trips. Will try to pay better attention LOL

You need to carve out some time to have some fun, its not a bad thing to be busy though.
