Chris and Amy, Courtney and I and some other friends went to the Colorado Mammoth game this weekend. They are the National Lacrosse League's Colorado Lacrosse team, for anyone not familiar with them. The tickets were pretty cheap and it was actually quite a bit of fun! Not QUITE the excitement level of an avalanche game, but for $10/ticket with a free hotdog/soda per ticket, it was pretty sweet.
Anyone interested in going to a game sometime? Apparently they offer discounts if you purchase more then 10 tickets.

I've been trying to figure out some time to take my kids. They want to go to a Broncos game, but when you look at cheap seats being $50, a family of 5 gets quite expensive.

I figured a Mammoth or a Crush game would do them just fine, and be much kinder to my wallet.

Yeah, the Mammoth was a blast - I was pleasantly surprised. It's like a party - they play hard-driving music throughout the game - it's great. The "Wild Bunch" cheerleaders aren't bad either. As Matt said, the $10 "party pack" includes a hot dog and beer/soda so it's really a good deal. Also, there's not really a bad seat in the house for these games - we were way up in section 324 on one end of the arena. I figured they'd be horrible seats but they were great...

I don't think you can buy a hot dog and a beer at any other game for less than $10.

yeah its a pretty sweet deal. Unless your like me and you don't get the free soda OR the free hot dog, but still, knowing I could was cool, LOL. I'm going to look into what the group discount is on tickets.

I will be hitting you up for that next season Senor Smooth.

As for the babysitting, my wife barely trusts me, so I doubt she'd let me leave them anywhere else, but since her parents will be living here by then, and my parents are local, I should be able to work something out.

Now to figure out how to have $$$$ by then..........
