This was a fun trail. I really enjoyed getting out & exploring an area I've never been to. It has several water crossings & lots of rocky/bumpy places. The hardest rock climb is right after the 2nd water crossing. It was ate out pretty good now. The videos on Traildamage of that obstacle show that isn't ate out at all but those vids are a couple years old. No biggie though.
JuBean tried in his stock Ranger but he probably would have beaten the underside of it really bad & possibly damaged something so he & I decided that I'd just winch him up it so he could continue the day without the possibility of damage.
I had to find the right line up it cause my rear diff kept getting hung up on the big rock. Thanks to the spotters, I got up it alright.
Everyone else got up it alright too with spotter help.
I invited a friend (AJ) from FR4x4 on this trip with his Tacoma, he had a great time & enjoyed it so much that he wants to join this board. I think this goes to show how good the RMFTC members are. Even though this is a brand board, it doesn't mean that other brands are excluded from participating in events. After all, lots of us own brands other than the blue oval.
We didn't get to run the right side fork due to time constraints but I want to go back & run that fork up to the old mill that's there. The scenery was spectacular & the company was even better. The lunch BBQ was a good addition to the trip & I want to thank everyone for making it a success.
Lots of factors contributed to this being one the most fun runs I've been on. Thanks everybody. Now, on with some pics................

Hope everyone made it home safe and dry, we sure were glad to be in the tow rig, not in the open Bronco when that storm hit. As a bonus, I averaged 12MPG towing it.
We ran into that storm too. I'm glad you didn't drive the Bronco there from the Springs, that would've been miserable on the way back

Many thanks to everyone for all of the spotting and help and Larry for dragging me up the hill!
I had a blast and came out in really good shape, just a couple of dents on the bottom edges of the cab!

I'm sure! I felt it more than I herd it. In the cab it just sounded like a mellow pop over the loud motor.

Not hard to tell the yoke had a crack in it for a while, Looks like it was a hair line crack that had grease and rust in it. See picture outline in RED.

This was a great run. I have some pics, but Im having some issues with photobucket. As soon as I have those resolved I will post them up. We do need to go back sometime and run the right fork and go check out the mill though.

Second that, I want to see the mill. We had talked on the trip home abount camping in the area and having a full day or two for exploring. That would be great, as there is a lot in the area to see.
