Off Topic question, but I have a 2003 Yamaha XT-225, and am looking for performance upgrades. A new exhuast would be nice.

I dont think I'd fit on a motorcycle, much less be able to work on em! LOL. I know Don (leanintree's) got a nice bike... but he doesn't work for a motorcycle company either.

AWWWW... ARENT YOU JUST A DARLIN BOYO FER SAYIN SO... <---(ISN'T THIS THE BLUSH ICON?)
THERE'S A BUNDLE OF SHOPS IN DENVER, FAY MEYERS CONES TO MIND, AND THERES A WHOLE ROW OF THEM UP TOWARD FORT COLLINS...
BUT, YOU'RE NOT GONNA FIND ANY DEALS THERE. GOOGLE FOR YAMAHA THUMPER FORUMS (OKOKOK, ALL DUAL SPORTS) TO FIND THE BEST E-AILERS FOR WHAT YOU NEED.
ON A RELATED NOTE HOWEVER, YOU MAY NOT WANT A DIFFERENT EXGHAUST, UNLESS YOUR PLANNING A REJET. IT CAN SCREW THINGS UP ROYALLY AT ALTITUDE. JUST MY 2CENTS OF COURSE.
SIGH, I MISS MY OLD XT'S... I HAD A 200 AND A 550...

550 woulda been cool. I am happy with the 225. goes 85+ on the highway, and great on whatever trails I go for.
Wanted a bigger bike, but I have short dunpy little legs. I am 5'11, but wear a 29-30 length pant (when I wear pants)...
I sat on a WR400, but could barely touch the ground. Felt like some little kid learning to ride, so I got this one. But, I do like it alot!
Might skip the exhaust then... I do not wanna get into to many mods right now. I need to take it in for its 5000 mile check up, so I will ask the Excel guys then.
I was even dumb enough to ride it to work tonight.... think it'll be cold at 3am?
