Nametag design

Once again, feedback is welcome... Now that lanyards are officially in production, figured it is a goodtime to start discussing nametags (for lanyards, see http://rmftc.com/merchandise.html . I want to make what the most people want to use :). I've been playing around with the nametag designs a bit, came up with a few "doodles", let me know, or feel free to come up with your own and post it :)

I like the second idea the best. Can the oval from the logo be removed from the bottom where it passes behind the user's name? I also think the state should be added after the city.

Yes, that part of the oval can be removed. I agree, because we will be a "regional" club state is good too :).

I could live with the third one. The lettering style is good, but I'm not crazy about the color of the logo. I looks to light.

Oh, I like that one even better.... I like the royal blue color... Much better... And I love the font for the names...

yeah... if thats the design that gets picked, I'll make sure to make it a bit more centered... LOL.

screw what everyone else wants... Thats what the ID area wants for theirs... We took a vote and it was unanimous!!!

Can they even read in Idaho? What good is a nametag if noone can read it?

All I did was copy it from the logo post. I couldn't use the ones from this post because they had MATTADAMS pasted all over them.

Anyway, it was just the idea of having it a bit more spread out, and the member since thing. It'd work just fine with any of the above ones, but like I said just convenience.

Oh, and when you have your choice of MS Paint, or MS Word, you do what you can.

I also thought it'd be cool to have something like a shadow of a truck behind our screennames, but figured there'd be a fight over which model, even though everyone knows the SuperCrew is far superior.



Well, just remember, you'll go blind if you do that too much.

just a little worried, i only use my name if it says cory on top and on the bottem, wont people think my tag is stuttering.

That'll make it a conversation piece. Matt and Heath are in the same situation though.

Heres one based off an idea Jeff had. Witht he fonts people had liked from previous designs I wasn't able to make the text as big obviously, but here goes nothing, let me know what you think.

Can we lose the stick on the bottom so it dosen't look like a giant screwed up lollipop???

the stick was just the cursor when I did a screenprint. it wouldn't be there in real life, LOL.

I think #7 is ok, the only thing I don't really care for is that the name and screen name are so small on it... not sure how it would read from a slight distance.

I don't have the best eye sight anyways, so if I don't know someone, I'll just say "hey, grab me a beer".

I'm still partial to #6, but I could settle for #7 if that's the way the ballot slides.

Well I think my personal vote is still for #6, but I'll do whatever the ballot decides :).

If the logo itself is bigger on number 7 thats the way my vote would go... Mainly because thats the important part about grabbing peoples attention and letting them see that there is another better club out there...

The logo in #7 is the same size as in #6... the perspective is just off because the text is smaller

Well it sounds like #6 is the popular choice, which works fine for me. Once I get the lanyards I can start taking orders and start printing these out!
