Is there any reason that I can't use 20" blades on my expl? It has 18", but there is room for 20" in the arc. Sam's has a whole box of the ones with the snow boot on them. Just thinking, kinda. Thanks.

I think I did that on the explorer. It didn't hurt anything, gave a bit of a wider sweep. if I remember right the last 1/2" of the wiper didn't make very good contact with the windshield, but it didn't hurt anything either.

I have 20" blades on mine (I think)
If there's room, go for it. Can't hurt anything. The minute amount of extra resistance shouldn't affect the motor any more than a piece of ice sitting on the glass.

I have a curved windshield on my old effie...and the longer blades are good for the little spot in the middle at the bottom of the windshield, but they dont curve and get any more of the upper windshield...dont know how the explorers are thoough.

wipers are overrated! lmao besides, if you remove the windshield, then you don't need it, and you'll spend less on Windex!
Less on Windex, but more on Crest
