Cabelas trip Sunday December 26th

I know its late notice, but my dads friend got an elk, and he wants a meat grinder, and fast! So I may be taking a road trip out to Cabelas tomorrow in Nebraska, anyone want to go with? I'll have room if you dont want to drive. I'm not going for certain, have to call to make sure they have t first.

I would like to go, but I've been sick the last few days. If I'm feeling decent, I'm going to try to be the first one at Best Buy in the morning to exchange a gift for a different model, then come back home and sleep.

Walker, thanks for the info, I'd neve rbeen to Gander Mountain before, pretty neat place though. They had exactly what my dad was looking for... about $45 more then Cabelas, but by the time you factor in gas to get there, probably saved a bit of money! Thanks for the tip!
Ended up getting a 1.5hp, 15-lb/minute grinder, real nice one.
So, I didn't go to Cabelas... which is fine, because I have no money to spend there anyway LOL.

glad you liked it we had thoses back east and i enjoyed them was stoked to here we was getting 2 of them they can be a little pricy but sometimes you get awsome deals on stuff too

in what state is it hunting season? not in colorado. elk is good eatin' i got my first last year fun stuff.

I can't wait... They're building a cabelas right near my in-laws house... Now I can stop in whenever I go to see the fam!!! WOOO HOOO...

I'm sure it could have been a late-rifle permit. Some of them go until something like the 10th or 14th of January.

I'm not sure what the permit was for, but I know that they had a tag for it, and they are going up hunting again in a few days, they have a tag for another elk.
