I have to change the Shocks on Grumpy and have a choice between a Shock ive been impressed with on customers vehicles. That is the Bruiser XT from Car quest if they can still get that Shock. The one available is a KYB twinn chamber style which is OE pressure spec. OR I can go with some brand of Rancho or Monroe which I prefer to not go that direction based on experience with previous activities. It is a Daily driver is semi trail retired. As a matter of fact it was climbing rockies before some of you were "sucking on a bottle". (I just like saying that after a customer said it to me about another person I worked with, lol)

What do you all like best?

I also need to find some shocks for the Bronco (1969). Being as it has Full width axles and lift it will need something made specifically for that setup which may be something done via measurements.

I think I got this POLL entered correctly. Here goes...

Monroe, I run the load adjusting (strut looking shits) on the back of my truck, we also use them at the shop and very very low comeback for anything, and they seem to hold up very well... Plus, lifetime warranty on the part...

I like the Rancho 9000's on my work truck, the adjusablility is nice for hauling heavy loads.
Cheap is good on the trail rig, it does'nt hurt as bad when you f*** them up using them as bump stops and shocks.

Much cheaper than monroes we would have to have monroe make them for my truck specifically, Gabriel is the oe and they arent available anymore either

the Gabriels are only 22 bucks but not available

I have always had good luck with Monroes on my cars anyway (struts). The gabriel's have always seemed to work well for me on trucks that are stock.

I still have the ranchos on the front of the ranger and the ProComp ES3000s on the rear and I am really like the 3000s back there compared to the ranchos that was on there before..
