can anyone tell me the easyest way to bleed a clutch slave. getting pretty pissed off about know, almost ready to send it to the shop.

Damn, I wish I could remember. I did the slave and master a couple years ago but I dont remember a thing. :( I thought it was a lot like bleeding the breaks manually. Loosen the bleeder, push in the clutch, close the bleeder, release the clutch. Repeat.

The way we bled the clutch slave cylinder in my 94 Ranger last summer was.... I filled the Clutch Master, and my friend laid under Ranger, and hooked a 4 foot clear vinyl hose to the bleeder screw, and handed me the other end, and I held it over the master cylinder. He cracked the bleeder open, and a lil fluid/air came into the tube. His wife just sat in Ranger, and pressed and released the clutch slowly... the air and fluid crept up the hose and back into the master cylinder. The air bubbled out, and the fluid just recirculated. Worked great!


That is actually how we ended up bleeding the brakes this OCtober as well.

you little uhh big slut . im lost i got the air out i have mad pressure but it still acts like the throw out bearing is out and it has zero miles on it ,so i cory admit defeat it's going to the shop on tuesday

if i was you i would sell the car and put the money into the truck. but trucks are what i was brought up with. never owned a car in my life. :)

a freind let me borrow it until i get my bucket fixed , but i wont lie from 60 to 115 in seconds is a blast.
