I finally received the final paperwork from the Forest Service for the trail adoption, basically I just had to highlight the section of the trail we'd be "officially" adopting, and send it back to him with a signed letter of intent, which i've done. I've also put a copy of this map on the Saxon Mountain page: http://rmftc.com/saxon.html
The Forest Service has proposed our first field day be early July or late June. Because the last weekend of June is the big All Ford Day at Bandimere Speedway, I propose that we do this field day July 3rd, which is a Saturday. hopefully most folks will be in town because its a holiday and we should be able to have some fun :). I would like to know what others think as wlel though. We can possibly do it the weekend before bandimere or the weekend after July 4th, depending on when people can get together.
Please let me know if you can make it, and if July 3rd works for you... and if not, which day you'd prefer.

If I were you Matt, I'd make it the weekend after the July 4th holiday. I'm guessing many people's schedules will have conflicts if it's the 3rd. I have nothing scheduled the weekend of July 10th and will plan to be there if everyone agrees...

Probably with all the craziness of the 4th, the weekend after would be better for folks in general... I'm up for either with a warning.

Talked with the Forest Service yesterday, and the 10th works the best for them, so lets plan on that day.

You just want to try out the new lift kit. LOL...

Actually I'd rather not test out the lift a week after its been installed, I'd rather wait a while until everything has settled... but oh well, we'll see... maybe I'll take Mom's explorer up there.

I'm just jealous Matt. I think it would be alright up there. Take some tools and it would be a good time to re-torque all the hardware.

Sort of like after I had my gears installed. 4 Wheel Parts said to come back after 500 miles and they would check things over. I had about 50 miles on the truck and we had a family emergency in Minnesota. I told my mom I'll drive, but she gets the repair bill. No damage was caused thankfully.
