Profile page problems

Lately each time I try to look at anyone's profile I get this message after clicking on their name.

1freaky1, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:


Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Why is this happening it did not use to?

hmm your account looks ok it doesn't seem restricted or anything... can anyone else try and see if maybe it is a system-wide thing?

is it a particular users profile you are trying to look at or does it happen for all users?

I think there is something Matt has set up that new members need to do a return email before they have site permissions...or something like that. :)

I've had the same message for profiles of people who had yet to post. After they post, no problem.

It's done that when I click on a new member for me too. I just figured they haven't responded yet to activate their membership.
