Spontaneous combustion?

OK, I saw a thing on television last night about a bunch of 2000 F150's, expeditions, and navigators that are having engine fires for no apparent reason. All of them while they weren't running! They were turned off, and and cold. Near as the fire investigators can figure, it has something to do with the cruise control wiring. Wierd.

I guess it's a good thing my cruise control went out about a month after I got my truck. Still haven't gotten it fixed.
