i bought a new (to me) truck today and thinking of letting the 76 go. it's got a 2" spring lift, good 35's a freshly built 460 and new C-6 trans. i have reciepts. no rust but it does need some body work to be cherry.
it's also got a custom crossover steering done by me. it steers like a new truck. i also just replaced all the door and window seals. the thing rides nice and quiet, no rattles or sgueaks. you can check out my gallery at FTW to see some pictures. i hate to let the old girl go but i really don't need two trucks. i thought i would give you guys here a chance at it before i put it in the truck trader. PM me for a price if your interested.

Lately ive been leaning tword the mid 70's trucks instead o my 79...If only i could flat out trade it... Sad to see it go. Youll probobally miss it when you get rid of it. BTW, is it 4x4? I have no way to buy it reguardless, but its nice to know.

yea i hate to see it go too. if i can't get what i've got in it i'm going to keep it and wheel it i guess. it's a 4X. i also changed it from a divorced 203 to a married 205 t-case.

Im just guessing you have between 5300 and 6500 into it? Which you should be able to get if the interior is complete too.

I am going to throw my opinion in on this... :D

If anyone is interested in it I ENCOURAGE you to go look at it as I have seen this truck and the work he put into it. The one thing I noticed is everything was done properly and there were no corners cut. I was jelous of the steering system he has on that as it is a sweet setup and I wish I had it on mine.

I hate to see you sell it as it looked soo good and I see all the time you have in it. I wish I had some cash laying around because that would be a cherry truck after fixing a few little dents and give it a paint job. Good luck with selling it and I hope it finds a good home that finishes it.

That truck is Sweet..... If only I needed another gas guzzler. Grrrr, I need something for commuiting but try and find a fuel efficient pickup..... Good luck finding a new home for it.

As much as I would want that, considering that's my dream truck, that 460 would only make <10 mpg huh?
At least with my explorer I get around 14.
I would definatley take that off your hands, but the 460 just isn't economical enough for what I need.
Thanks alot, and I hope it goes to a home that apprerciates all the work that was put into it.

If only I had more than $1.63, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

thanks Burg
this truck definitely ain't for the faint of heart when it comes to gas mileage. i haven't figured it out yet but if i stay on the primary's on the q-jet it's not that bad.
