I, the dumbass I am :x , decided it would be a good idea to re route my exhaust pipe, so it would go straight out the back, so it wouldn't get filled with mud every time I go muddin'. I cut about half way through, and then realized that I would have no support of a hanger where I wanted it, so long story short, how do I patch the pipe up? weld it? jb weld? what do you recommend?
Thanks,
Ryan
They sell some stuff at the auto parts stores that is pretty much like duct tape, but will hold up to the temperature of your exhaust. I used it on my old shitbox when I didn't want to replace the muffler with holes in it.
Pretty cheap, works well, and doesn't look all that bad.
JB Weld may work as well, but I've never tried it on something that gets as hot as your exhaust will.

why not finish cutting and build a support. i believe they sell supports at auto zone or other places, check that option out.

A piece of holy iron will make a support that is adaptable to any location.

well, I finished cutting and put a hanger like cowboy said.
It isn't all that noticeable, which is what I was sort of going for, then capped it with a 3.5" tip
Looks good(from underneath) and also sounds great with the big tip
