Today I got a chance to drive a 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet. I had lunch with the owner in Idaho Springs and drove it up to Echo Lake at a rather brisk rate. WOW!!!!!

Here's what it looks like.

how'd you fit? I always wondered how I'd fit in one... not that it'd ever matter.

I fit well, the brake and gas pedal are pretty far to the right. At first I found it strange but when I was driving fast I could easily heal/toe to match revs on downshift. I'm 6'1" with size 12 shoe and I was good. It was funny when you get out, you forget how low you are and always grunt as you stand up.

Those are nice rides. I have a long story about porsche's. can make a brief summary, I left the ford Dealership in dillon for a while and ended up at an auto mall where I was part of a pit crew for their 97 RSR GT for 24 Hr Daytona. etc etc. they were offering to pay for our ( the crew) trips to Daytona for all ofo ur hard work. Well I got fed up with being treated like a dirtbag and went back to ford. The rest went to Daytona and got charged for the trip after going. lol They also had one of them twinn turbo's 97 or 98 year. It was 1 of 10 that was capable of running 0-100-0 in under 10 seconds

I was getting a ton of the older models (Early 80s 911's)in for major electrical problems with lighting and interior stuff like the dash lamps etc etc, not fun to diagnose like other makes for sure. but still fun to drive when they go
