Hey all. My name is Chris, and i joined the site a while back but have not had much time to do much on it up till now. I'm still real young(19) but already have a deep love for fords. i have a 70 f100, 77 f150, 79 Bronco, And a 91 ranger(economy car) I went four wheeling a lot when i was little with my dad, and loved it then, so i started going myself about a year ago. But currently have lost all friends to go with. It would be great to get to know some of you, and possibly get out there and do some wheelin.

Thanks, and alright will do, i am thinking of swapping my 77 steering components out with the style used in 78-79, but i am not sure of anywhere that sells the components, however i haven't looked real hard at all yet.

you can buy all of the link arms for your truck 77 new at a parts house, or go yank em all off of a salvaged model ( I would still replace the tie rod ends with new ones at this time) I had a 76 like that

Its yellow and white, has a 390, with a rv cam, and 650 holly, but saving up for a rebuild and switching to a fuel injection set up. other than that is bone stock, 2wd, long bed, only mods besides the ones mentioned are, a fire siren, and 2 search lights of a 57 galaxy cop car, that double as mirrors on the backside, unlike any other search lights i have seen out there. still rolling around with the stock am radio even. i believe the siren was added by the original owner because he was a fire chief or something along those lines, but was retired when i bought the truck from him.

Did you by chance pick up your bronco off craigslist? That one looks like one I saw on craigslist that needed a motor a while back.

ya i picked it up off the guy for $300, i am planning on doing a frame of restro on it, and modifying it exactly the way i wanted, so it works out great for me, and theres a 460 in my garage waiting for it.

Yup, only 19. And I plan on doing frame off restros on them all, and doing all the mods i want and getting them to where they will last me a good long while, i am actually getting ready to start the f100 and the bronco here in the next couple months, gonna keep using and abusing the 150 till the broncos done then it'll be its turn for restro

Welcome aboard Chris, nice fleet you have there!!! There are a few of us who have FE powered trucks; both dent-sides and bump-sides. For some reason we consider junkyarding a worthwhile hobby.:D

My advice: Stop buying trucks, start buying parts! LOL

haha seems like hopefully i will get to a balance point here real soon, cause i gotta lot of stuff to be doing to them all, mainly to get the 77 back up and running, its suffering from a spun rod bearing right now so i missed the entire summer 4x4 season
