Hey all.... hoping it is cool, but just wanted to post a quick
"Gonna Miss Ya " in memory of Dimebag Darrell Abbott. I am sure by now, those of you who care, know about the tragic shooting of DamagePlan/Pantera guitarist. For those who don't know, he was shot to death last night while performing on-stage. The shooter then opened fire on the crowd, and took a hostage before being shot by police. He killed 3 other people before he was killed. 5 people died, and no one knows why...

:(

Just can't believe how stupid and messed up people can be these days....

I heard that this morning on the radio. Its messed up what people will do these days. Even if you don't follow that genre of music its still messed up. From what I heard on why he did it. He felt that "dimebag" was responsible for breaking up Pantera, and I guess the shooter held one hell of a grudge.

Right.. I heard that as well... But he made damn sure there won't be a reunion. Bastard.

But, AOL radio is playing nothing but Pantera on the Metal station...

They interrupted Punk'd to talk about it tonight. I hadn't heard anything until then.

What a dumbass to think that one of the brothers who started Pantera broke it up to create a new band with nowhere close to even half the popularity.

If the cop hadn't already shot this guy, I'd say he needs a good ass whoopin'

It's crazy how people can get so messed up in the head and loose a grip on reality.

I did not listen to Pantera much, but I did like a couple of songs I heard from Damage Plan.

Im not much of a follower of metal, but I think its absolutely insane that someone would kill another innocent person, and other innocent people as well, for such a silly reason.

one important thing to remember is this is a crazy world and with all the guns and what not anything can happen to anyone at any time just walking out your door you take a risk but please remember guns dont kill ppl.. ppl kill ppl .. all i hear on the radio is that he was using a hand gun to kill ppl its not the guns fault or the gun manufacturers fault its the sick and twisted ppl of the world who are to blame it is a sad day indeed and I feel sorry for his family but I can see this turning in to new laws like this one http://www.nraila.org/Issues/Articles/Read.aspx?ID=114 that will ban millions sorry for the rant but i dont think "they" (the government) should be able to tell us what we can and can not own as far as wepons with in "reson"
