Wish i could say it is mine, but I'm still super-excited about it... this beauty is an E-450 Super Duty that is set up with cages inside, dual air conditioner so we can take it to just about anywhere whether its super-hot, super-cold, or perfectly comfy. I don't know all the specs on it except for what I could see fromt he outside, its brand new within the last week, pretty exciting :)

Cool, nice setup. Was it donated to the shelter?

They've been saving for like 8 years for a new van without telling anyone about it just stashing it away in a secret fund. You can see the "old" van behind it, and it was barely able to transport tables and stuff much less animals or perform surgeries inside.

Um... Secret fund? I know the outcome was good... But isn't that the kind of thing that charity watchdogs and the media like to have a field day over?

heh heh don't think that's quite how it works :). The board has known about it all along, it's just been a different account, still an account registered with the shelter just one they wouldn't be tempted to dip into for other things... kind of like a christmas club savings account or something.

I dont suppose they have a little extra $ in the fund for a lift and some 38"s?

Wheres the RMFTC sticker? As an official club charity and supporter I would think we would at least deserve a window sticker!

maybe if members offered to help do oil changes and other maintenance needs that came up, they'd consider it? :)
