I am going to put my 64 F100 up for sale soon. I would like to sell it to someone on one of the truck forums before throwing it up on craigs list. I have to pull engine and all expensive items off before sale.
Engine comes out, Trans comes out, the billet instrument panel comes out, guages, etc etc etc. I have morem oney tied up into them pieces than the pickup costs and would lose thousands on them if I do not sell them individually. If someone wanted to make me a honest offer as it is I would consider.
Anyway here goes, it is a 1964 F100 2wd street rod project.

The entire front undercarriage has been freshened up with POR15 coated the straight axle, new front drums and brake shoes, I also have new shoes and drums for the rear. the link arms up front are new, tie rod ends are new, everything related. Basically I havent gotten to the gear box yet, everything else has been freshened up.

Inside, I have new seat material that was sewn to fit the old bench seat for a comfy new bench, I have the lower half assembled and will finish the upper asap. Another part I have going is the door windows. I removed the wing windows and installed one piece glass in the doors, driver side is finished, passenger needs finished. this is a very tedious job and takes alot of work to get everything working correctly.
Wiring, all new with a new power panel with a 21 circuit setup ( more than enough for what I have done so far

Exterior, Needs to be completely refinished. I did begin major body work. I have had this truck completely apart as far as I could get. I couldnt lift the cab off of the chassis because the beams in my garage ceiling were not strong enough, but the mounts were removed and reinforced where needed. I even hand sanded the firewall and painted it. the inside of the innder fender lower cowl section has been herculiner to prevent more damage from rock chipping.

Basically this truck needs finished and I do not have enough time, money or energy anymore. I am clowded up with way too many projects and want to get back to the one I began originally
If anyone is interested you can send me a p.m. here or a reply I have tons of photos from the day I brought him home and throughout our 4 year + journey together. I am really sad I have to do this but havent found another solution
Oh, there are some photos on my album here as well
Thanks for your time
Shawn

Haha, that might just work. Put this in your ad "Owner must be named Shawn, and upon payment will recieve username and passwords to my discussion boards"

yeah, make it harder to be a buyer then lol

I don't really want to tear all of this stuff out of it to sell the truck unless I have someone really interested in it. just trying to get a feel as if this is a good idea or not, if not i'll continue to work on it. When I have time

The 79 and older ford pickups all the way back to the 50's have always been my favorites Dentsides, bumpsides, slicks, effies and F1's all are awesome

bumping this back up...
I am going to tear the 460/C6 out of this truck and sell it with everything else 1500 cash will take it home. there is atleast 4x that much in money invested in parts on this pickup. But it needs to go to someone who has time to finish it. all I will need is a day to get that big block yanked out.

this photobucket link wil ltake you to the tons of pictures I took along my journey with this truck. http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s318/shawnstang67/1964%20F100%20project/?start=0

Also, you can navigate around to see some of the other pictures I took as well as a burnout video one day when I was bored. If anyone is seriously interested e mail me @ shawnstang67@aol.com thanks

well not even a nibble on him so I am back at it,:p he is getting his bench seat reassembled. I hog ringed the cover back onto the upper frame tonight. I have to pick up some stout wire ( need to measure the thickness) because some of it is worn out to finish the reassembly. then ill move onto finishing up the power window adjustments and body work.

Everytime I work on him she gets more expensive to sell
