I assume this is currently on a vehicle so I would have to plan plenty of time to remove it via hand tools?
What year F150 was there?
maybe 83-85 not sure i would have bought it all but i had rent .

I went to Pull N Save today....got the shifter mech. for my 79. They had about 10-15 72-85 broncos and F-Series trucks there, saw some things i could have yoinked if i had more money. But atleast i got what i needed.
--John
i know all those broncos and not one had the part i need.

I just found out the shifter i got is broken the same as the one i need to replace, so looks like the part i needed wasnt there either...ohh well.

Did either of you check out these guys? http://www.denverfordpartsltd.com/denver/recent.html
I don't know how much they run price wise, but looks promising anyway.

Do any of these junk yards have late model f-150's or any other full size late model truck/suv? Also if anyone needs anything for a late model f-150 there is a junk yard in georgia that I am going to when i'm home from chirstmas that has some. If there is anything small that you need, let me know and I'll pick it up for you.

Here is what I really need, if anyone comes across, I'll pay...
I have a sliding rear window on my 95'. All the weather stripping around the driver side rear pane of glass is gone. It just raddles around in the window slot with no rubber surrounding it to hold it still. I'm also missing the short metal divider that stops the same window from moving to the right. The middle section should move, not the side pane.
It should be easy to get but its so easy I dont make the time to get er done. Ford wants over $100 to replace basically the whole window trim or something
I also need the upper driver side door trim for the rear door on a supercrew if anyone happened to have that.

I think that 76 - 96 F series trucks all have interchangable rear windows. I think we could do a "ravage the fords day" before the christmas party??
Could be fun. If i have gas money to get down there, ill probobally just help people pull parts. I dont need many parts for my truck, just small stuff. Whattya think?

Anyone up for going to pull n save this saturday or sunday, and being there at 9am when they open? Im always lookin for stuff for me to tinker with. I have to find someone i know an ignition system, dizzy, coil, module, etc...I just had a little tiny bot of money free up, enough to maybe drive to work this week ( i was gonna run out of gas tomorrow), come down to denver saturday, or sunday, and maybe buy some random things at the pull yard. I might buy some valve covers for my 52, if i find the ones im lookin for, plus, never know what youre gonna find. When i was there yesterday, saw a set of t-top glass for an 80's stang....those could pull some decent cash if you find someone who didnt latch thiers before driving.
Lemme know whats up. I can drive anyone who doesnt wanna drive, as long as im met right off of 70. City traffic kill my truck, so i keep it highway the most i can.
BTW, Cory, what part-s- are you looking for?

Man... I love 'smash and grab' errr I mean pull and save.
I got the motor and tranny for my Samurai for 30 bucks each there. I have gotten tons of stuff. I just hate how some of the other people pull parts. They will break something off to get what they need, instead of removing it for the next guy.

I am working tomorrow, but if you happen to see some late-model F-150's there, there is a few parts I'm always looking for.
Engine cover, this is the part that says "Triton V8" on it, I'm not sure the exact name for it.
Bucket or 60/40 bench seats upfront, for my dad's truck.
Lightning front 60/40 power seats, for my truck.
the trim above the steering wheel. Color is unimportant, will be covered with dash kit anyway.
Headliner, gray is a must. Must be one with overhead console, and if overhead console is relatively inexpensive, get that too :).
if you find any of these and have any questions feel free to give me a call, 303-868-8265.

The thing i hate most is when im under a truck, pulling something, and the trucks on oblonged rims, stacked in the air... and some asshole climbs in the cab and starts looking around. Thats what gets me...i got a little too mad last time and jabbed a 10" screwdriver right thru the floorboard. People there sometimes dont understand they arent the only ones looking for parts. Ill take everything off a truck i can to get what i need because taking them apart is just a good day of fun. Especially not having to put it back together.
Matt, they rarley have anything newer than 86 ive noticed...but ill keep an eye out for a newer effie for you.
Ill most likely go this sat or sun reguardless, but would be nice to be one of the first ones in, and have someone to "watch my back"lol

Ohh yeah, Matt...whats this tomorrow stuff? I was asking about upcoming sat or sun. But ill add these to my list of parts im watching out for for people, and grab what i can afford or stash them in the back of a plymouth minivan, or on top of something no one else can reach.

Plus... when you hafta take a few things off to get what you want, it is good practice. So you know what to do when you do it to your own vehicle. You know a littlew more what to expect if it is something you have not done before.

LOL well I have plans this weekend too... but its all good. I doubt you'd see something from 97-03, and usually if they do its so damaged beyond beleif nothing is salvagable.

Im thinking a quarter till 9 on either sat or sun. Lets see which day would work best...for anyone who is interested...Sat, or Sun. Rino, there was a 4x4 D44 front with coils under a F-150, looked to be an old plow truck, but the axle shyafts and hubs were missing. Im pretty sure there was a few more there, but i was in a zone, basically getting what i needed, and leaving before i went broke..lol. I have a decent stanley socket set i take with me, a pretty good assortment of screwdrivers, small torx, and then a bag of misc bigger tools...if anyone has a cordless drill they could bring,. with an assortment of bits, that would kisk some ass...i need to try to find an electric choke unit off a quadrajunk for my stepdads chebbie, took him 5 minutes sitting outside in the bitter cold to get his truck to idle this morning, me...i just went, tapped the throttle once, and fired her, then came inside, total time, about 25 seconds..

If you guys go to pull and tug on sunday, I can go or after 12:00 on saturday.
I'm looking for a wiper motor bracket...I seem to have a one for the soft top, which is good but I can't fit the motor cover on it that I recently received. Also a washer fluid reservoir.

Easy to get to, I-70 East to Peoria. Peoria South to 33rd Ave ( just past a Quiznos). Then go West on 33rd, and youll see Pull N Save on your left after about 30 seconds. Try this website for more info. www.pullnsave.com
. BTW, check oyut thier specials this weekend...a transmission for 29.95 or something, plus a core, thats dirt cheap. http://pullnsave.com/weekendspecials.htm

If youre south of I-70, you can use colfax, 6th, etc to get to peoria, then go north to 33rd, and so on...good location, and its right next to a sewage treatment plant, so every now and thwen, ill get a whiff of something that makes me think im still at work...Im gonna start another thread, simply throw a "yes", "maybe", or "no" as a response, so we know who to wait for
