Gotta get rid of this guy, just got my locked in ship date to Boot and it is August 17th.
1992 Bronco Custom
300 ci
5 speed M5OD
Rubber floors
No headliner
No power windows or locks besides the back one
Rust over the rear wheel wells of course
Runs and drives fine
All routine maintenance kept up and done by ME
Has I think 167,xxx miles, will check later
Clifford alarm
Leaks slowly out of front differential
Leaks slowly out of transfer case
33x12.50x15 BFG ATs with lots of life left
Newer fuel pump and filter
Newer plugs wires and coil
New thermostat housing
Cloth seats in excellent shape, never been sat on always had covers on them (the saddle blanket style baby:thumbup)
That is about all I can think of now. I love this truck, it has only let me down once when the water pump failed after an 1800 mile round trip in July through Missouri and Kansas, that was the original pump. Unfortunately my Uncle Sam won't let me up-armor this thing and take it with me, so somebody here buy it. I don't know where to start so lets just say $2,000 OBO.
Some pics...

Don I really don't need another bronco in my yard right now (unless it was an early bronco). I just want the 9in third out of yours. I can buy a new detroit for what you want for the truck. Let me know when you want to give it to me
Edit: Sorry don't want to take away from the original post so $301.00

What you didn't like my bid:tomato:
It was a little low, but not by much. I'm really only expecting to get about $1500 out of the damned thing, and even a little lower I wouldn't give a shit about. Only paid $3500 for it about 4 years ago, and I've used about $2,000 up in it I'd say.

will you take $1500, I know those 300ci's last forever and I need a dd.
Does it have a/c?
what mpg's?
Gunner

I would take $1500.
It does have A/C.
Last I checked, which was a while ago, the MPGs were about 14-15 driving easy.

what can you tell me about the leaks?
Where is it leaking out of the front diff?
Where is it leaking out of the trans case?
What is the deal with the line-x on the rear bumper, was it rusted out at one point?
Does it leak oil?
What happened to the rear axle?
I just want to clear a few things up before i drive out there. I have had a ton of problems with my 79 bronco and I just want to make sure I can rely on this truck while in college.

The thing is I am trying to convince myself. I am a little skeptical about the reliability when it leaks out of two places and it has 167000 miles on it. I know the 300's last forever (from what I have heard) but it looks like it has been wheeled hard.
Pics are convincing me, I have the money to keep my 79 and the 92 but I would rather have one good truck than two mediocre ones.
If I do buy it I will go broncospeed with it and I am really excited about that:thumbsup:
I want to come take a look at it so we need to work out a time, gunner, I will be driving from the springs.

i think he only wheeled it a handful of times from what i remember but Leaks are easy fixes the diff i think would be fixed with a seal and maybe cover

1) I believe the pinion seal is bad.
2) Honestly, no idea, it is very slow however
3) It wasn't rusted out, I did it to the top and the bottom so the paint wasn't harmed, the interior of the gate also has it on there.
4) No.
5) Peeled the diff cover up like a banana in Carnage Canyon, just replaced the cover, no damage at all to the guts or anything.
I never really wheeled it hard, the worst was Carnage, only other place I've had it is Johnny Park, which is an easy trail. It was my DD for about 30,000 miles, I drove this thing to St. Louis from here which is over 1800 miles round trip in June running A/C full blastthrough Kansas and Missouri, the stock water pump went out. Other than that it has never left me stranded. I really do love this truck, I just don't need it anymore especially since I'll be active duty. It isn't perfect by any means, but what Bronco is? This truck was used, and then taken care of afterwards.
Thanks Don for the backup on this

just so you know the 300 is a work horse and they do last forever. My Dad is a fleet supervisor for a large company that runs delivery vans, they would throw rebuilds on the 300's every 500k. Good engine and plenty of tourque

Looks like my decision has been made for me, my parents just hit me with my new engine debt and I owe more than this bronco costs. I am sorry for wasting your time gunner, if I didn't have to pay off my damn motor I would be buying your bronco.
I think I will be happy with the 79 in the long run anyway.
