I have wanted to get rid of my open diff for a long time, and found a good limited slip, bought it and new bearings, races, and shims and installed it today. Man was this an easy job!!!!! The unit works great, and makes me alot happier than the open diff / one wheel wonder i am used to.

I GOT TO SEE IT WORK FIRST HAND LAST NIGHT BEFORE ANYONE ELSE!!!! It's pretty bad ass watching John roast both slicks in the burnout box!

By far one of the BEST investments i made in my truck. Between the ignition system (having my 2-step) and the limited slip, the truck is really starting to become reliable at the track!!!

I thought i saw Burg out there for the friday private test, but im not sure??

Best thing I did to mine was ditch the LS in favor of the Detroit. But the LS is a heck of a lot better than open diff.

Is yours your daily driver? My truck is my only vehicle, rain, snow, or shine.

Its my wifes DD. And we live outside Breckenridge so we see a lot of snow. I can barely feel it on dry ground. It make pops here and there but I'm sold. Just have to keep your foot out of it when its slick or your turning a corner.

Ill have to keep the detroit in mind for the 73 i am slowly building. I know alot of people who use them in "race" vehicles, but didnt know how they were in any daily driver. Now that i know ill have to make sure to save the extra dough to invest in one!

Thanks!

Right on! Posi/LS is a great thing!! Sounds like you have been doing really well there this year!

And yes, I was at Bandi on Friday running the GTO. The best run I could get out of it was 13.2@109 with the clutch smoking/slipping the entire time. I really like those Mickey Thompson ET Streets that I bought.
If you saw this then you saw me. LOL

13.2 is pretty good, and YES, the MT ET street slicks kick ass!!! Im going on my 3rd or 4th year of running my ET streets, very good and dependable tire, and they hook like no other DOT tire.
