Hoping someday to afford to add this kit to the ranger;

that would be cool. The one thing I dont like is that a lot of the people have the turbo mounted way at the back, the problem I see with that is it gives time for the exhaust to cool down and be come less spread out. Then I don't think it would push as much boost as it would if it was right off of the manifold or headers. I would want it mounted as close to my manifolds as possible and have the airfilter/s mounted were it can suck in some colder air instead of right next to where the exhaust is running. Just my :twocents:

Yes, they do say that you may lose a lb of boost or so but, then again with the length of the tube that you are running back to your intake it gives the air more time to cool down. and as we know colder air is more dense therfore more power which has been show to make up for the loss if that pound of boost... I am not saying that this is my optimal choice of setups, for me mainly cause I don't think the turbo would like being in and out of mud, water, or being used as a slider...:eek:

Ya that is true too, never thought of it like that, but I would mount them inside the engine compartment if I did it. But that is just me, and I don't have the kit nor the money for it but would love to get my hands on a twin kit for the 460 :D :thumbsup: :eek:
