I'm trying to think of some ideas (see: CHEAP) to promote the club to those that might be interested. One thought I had was a lot of colleges have bulletin boards etc. where you can put some "ads" for various clubs, companies around town, etc. I know at ACC where I go to school they remove these ads once a month but you can come back and put another one up. Not sure what rules other schools have for the same thing.
I had thought about an ad in the paper, but found these to be amazingly expensive.
Once we start getting stickers made (hopefully not too long) then that'll work when we're driving around town too...
Once we have a few meets and getting t-shirts, etc. made up, I am going to look into having a club display setup at Phil Long Ford, that'd be good exposure too.
Any other thoughts? Lets hear em!

Also, need to get some new business cards for this. If you do this I would like to buy some from you again, those are nice to hand out.

By the way I designed the business cards the way I did for a good reason, I left out a lot of the "its free, come join us" yada yada because a lot of people said if they saw it on their windshield they'd just ignore it as being another advertisement, but if it was a more personal type of card and then someone handwrote "hey real nice truck! Come check out our club we'd like to have you" on it, it'd be a lot more noticeable.

We should also check into possibly a little display or card holder, or something at Aerosuds. There are a lot of people who go in there straight from Sil-Terhar, or stop back in for various bolt ons etc...

I don't know what cost would be, or if there would even be any, but unfortunately I'm a bit too far away to stop in there any more. Possibly anyone who lives/works in Broomfield could stop in and speak to them. If noone has done so by the time I get over to my parents house again, I'll see if I can pop in and find out the logistics.

not a bad idea! I work right by there so I can try and swing by sometime.

oh yeah, I submitted the site to many search engines, but so far its only showing up on the minor ones. Not sure why google.com is so freakin slow!

I've also been searchign the net for sites to add our listing too... unfortunately many of them require a linkback to their site, or even banner ads, etc. so think I'll pass on those, but have got it added to a few different sites...

I wonder how feasible it would be to get a link added to the dealership sites, such as Phil Long, etc...

I'm sure they might want a return link as well, but that wouldn't be all that bad I don't think.

But I still think the stickers are going to generate the most traffic.

Now to see who will pay me the most to have their sticker on my truck, hmmmm. Naw, i just need to decide if I'm going to replace the current sticker, or add another.

its up to you, T-Dog :). I plan on replacing my other stickers with these, but we will see... I'm still getting some quotes on stickers so hopefully I can get the best stickers possible for the lowest cost.

I'll be replacing my FTW stickers since they are out dated after the 3rd or 4th name change.

Matt, that was your cue to say how you wanted to sponsor me. Naw, I found out you can't really even read the ftw one I have unless your right behind me anyway, so it really didn't do much good.

I don't know where you are with the process, but there is a decal/sign shop in Fort Collins, that was very reasonable when I was going to school up there. It would be more local, but again, I haven't been up there for a few years either, so I don't know if anything has changed or not.

If anyone up that way knows, it's in the shopping center by Chili's.

you want me to sponsor you? Bwahahahaha.... hmm... let me see... no advertisers, no dues, no fees of any kinds or ads to bother you... sure let me go ahead and spend all the money I make off the site on you... LOL j/k.
