The view outside my kitchen window

I know some may not be in to this sappy stuff, but this has been fun to watch for the past couple of weeks, and we saw the first appearance of the babies yesterday!
So today I took out the telephoto lens and believe it or not, snapped these shots through a window from probably about 10 feet away (I LOVE that zoom lens, even though it cost about the same as the camera...)

When the robin started his nest we decided to give it a name... so her name is Chicken McNugget. The babies are the little fry guys :)

Thats cute. And all the chirping is the birds telling stories to their young ones about the good old days.
"Ok kids, you see that guy over there? The one with the camera who thinks we don't see him? Ok, well he used to own a big grey truck, and your mother and I would love to watch him spend hours washing and detailing this truck. "
"Then when he'd go inside, and your mother and I would stuff ourselves with purple berries with big pits and raid the Safeway dumpster for cartons of ex-lax. Then we'd fly circle-grid patterns over the truck until the exlax and berries kicked in and watch him have a nervous breakdown when he came back out! It was great! And one day you'll all grow up and find a shiny car owner too." :)
