OK, per Rob's suggestion, we're trying to find ways to get the main page more hits from web searches like Google. Check out http://www.rmftc.com, and try to come up with a better "introduction" site that welcomes people to the site, explains who we are, and how to do the basics on the sites like visiting the forums. if yours is the best one, you'll win an RMFTC sticker!

The "best one" will be determined by how close to the first response it brings us on Google when the general terms for the club are typed in from a persons re-write?
Rob probobally already has the top 5 written for the club from his experimenting..LOL

Good Luck.

Not necessarily ho well it "activates" the google search page, but also it has to have a warm and inviting feel, you know, that emphasizes the community aspect, the fun, the forums, etc. I'd love to be listed in first palce on google, but I'd also loove for people that do find it, to feel perfectly welcome to be here.

That would take forever to get it to move up to first anyway that we'd never know why it actually happened.

LOL Hacker... Whatever man...

I am not sure about the party or not. We have a lot going on that weekend. Saturday I am getting the tree up in the mountains with the older two girls, sunday we have church in the morning and a christmas program in the afternoon. We will have to play it by ear, we would like to come just to much going on. :)

I submitted my attempt.

It's nothing fancy, as my brain hurts this morning, but hey, maybe one of my ideas will help with something. Who knows.

From Tray:

Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Ford Truck Club.

Inside, you will find a community of fellow Ford truck and SUV owners, as well as a few former, future, or potential Ford owners. Member rides range from bone stock with no intentions of upgrades to trail pounding rust buckets, all the way up to sponsored feature vehicles. Come on in and make yourself welcome.

As a ‘Club’, we as members, try to schedule events and get-togethers where a few, or a ton of us gather. Events range from trail maintenance on Mt. Saxon, to our annual Christmas Caravan for Toys-For-Tots, to a simple gathering at a fast food restaurant.

The Rocky Mountain Ford Truck club is free to join, and completely no-cost at any time. To become a member, feel free to register on the forums, and that’s it, welcome to the community. For any additional club information, please visit Club Info.

I have an idea for the "look" of the page, i just dont have anywhere to post it. Anyone here I can e-mail it to who can host the "pic" somewhere, and then post it up for people to critique?

I had to convert it to a .jpg, so a little of the quality is lost, but this will give everyone the idea.
