so last week my exploder spit head and intake gaskets. today i went to NAPA off of tower. they told me 100$ for a intake gasket and 225$ a pice for head gaskets. for 100$ more they could order me new heads,valve covers and gaskets.:eek:

anyone else smell :bs:

Fel-Pro head gaskets are $36/ea, the gasket set(which should be everything you need) is $107.

I go to Napa/Carquest for hard to find little things, but for almost everything else that is standard it's Checker's or Advance. If I have time, I'll usually order from Rockauto, as they have great prices on most things.

Head gasket SET, yeah. Just went through that buying CA bushings for the heep. The guy at the counter didn't see the word "kit" on his moniter.
