Sunday the 19th ill be out "testing" at bandimere. They opened this weekend with their first test and tune, but i had to work. Ill be out there seeing how much slower i am this year than last since i had to rebuild the carb 2 times over the winter and lost my "tune"
Anyways, ill be out there, running low 16's. If anyone else wants to come out and test, feel free.... its cheaper than a speeding ticket, and more convenient than having your license taken away for messin around on t he street.
Hopefully when we get closer to the fall , and i have built a backup engine, i will be hooking the nitrous back up and trying to get a 13 second pass out of this engine before retiring it.
Hey, Hunter.... what do you say you come out a few times this season before truckfest and get a few laps under your belt so we can have an all RMFTC final at truck fest...

The Subie won't be ready by then, but maybe I'll bring the truck and see what it does?

Chuck, you either need to grow a 3rd foot or get a line lock if you are gonna race it often, if not gonna race often you can just use your feet.

I was thinking it was more along the line of getting a "participant" ribbon, like when you are a kid and you compete in something and they don't want ot hurt anyones feelings, so everyone gets a medal or a trophy even if it just says "participant" like "Congratulations, you participated!" :)

I just got to this thread, sorry on my delayed responce. I only live 6 miles from the track, so I am game just let me know and if my schedule permits I can meet you there.
If the weather would cooperate I can rering the #4 piston and the truck will be ready to go.
Also last year they almost did not let me run, saying some thing about the crank being to high off the ground. So we need to get that hieghth so I can check it with my 38's. Last year I ran with the 40's on.
Yeah I am getting old and need all the practice I can get.
