So while doing a search for a new wich on ebay I came across this;

They claim to be as good as some of the name brand winches out today and we all know how claims are! But I am seriously thinking about checking into one of them. Let me know what you all think.

looks pretty good esp if its the name brand for aussies and is just opening up here in the us

that look exactly like mine with a diff. brand on it. 4Wheelpart has thier own brand and that is the one I have......kinda makes me think they are the same. I have had no problems with mine yet but that location of the soliniod on top of the drum sucks. I will be moving mine some day.

harbor freight makes good winches

These are supposed to be equal or better than Warn's and at a lot better prices, I did some research on them and they are expensive down under, one of the top brands down there.

seems kind of fishy to me... not saying it wouldn't be a good winch... sometimes, if the price is too low, theres a reason for it though...

Yeah it looks exactly the same as the Smittybilt winches. Same controller (they seriously suck) Otherwise the winch doesn't look too bad. Warns are great but your paying for the name. Good products don't always have to be expensive. Its definitely worth a shot. IMO
