Well to make a crapy day even more so I find out that the fuel pump that died and left me stranded on E470 is around $300 to replace. I found a used one (no new ones) on e-bay fo $150 any one have a way cheeper way out of this three hundred dollar hole I've doug for myself? could use a little help, thanx. :(

Geebus...this isnt what you wanna hear, but if i read this last weekend, i could have gotten you a free one off a wrecked 350, PSD....Ill see if anymore get wrecked, and if they do...ill try n grab a pump ..but i doubt that will happen.

Crapy deal! Thanx for looking though, I think I'm just going to have to hack up the dough. it's gona suck to be on my xmas list this year, I hope all my friends like hotel soap!

Its all that biodiesel crap your putting through there, LOL j/k.
Not sure if you've looked at the procedures for doing it or not, not sure if yours is the same is mine, but its a lot easier to take the bed off to get to the fuel pump, rather then dropping the tank, if you have the choice.

lol, I wish it were just the biodiesel! but the truck has a little over 130k miles on it so it's about time for things to start going soulth. like the glow plugs that I replaced the week before last. As for replacement the pump is on the chasi rail , easy to change, but the pump just must be gold plated or something!
