Just looking at some new A/T's for the Bronco when I get it down the road. I really want an A/T that is good for the street but will work real good for offroad. And the only real cool good looking one I found was the Growlers. Anyone have any experience with these or know anyone that has had them?
I bought the 39.5's and they only measured 35.5" on my rig. They flat spot badly, so the first five to ten miles sucks. The flat spotting lasts longer on cold days. bought into the advertisment that they ride better than other bias ply tires and I don't beleive it. I had a set of MT Claws and Irok bias that didn't flat spot and road much better even compared to when the Rocker flats spot went away. I beleive they are a great offroad tire, but the 39%'s come up short and are a bit wide to me.
I even tried a set of 42's and found the same bad flat spotting and ride on the street. The 39.5 Iroks I had were better and I was looking for an improvement in going to the Rockers for a streetable rig. The 42's measure up for diameter.
I do drive my rig daily. If you only occasionally drive the street you could probably put-up with them.

he is looking at the growlers...I understand same company so some things may carry over but some things different, bias and I would guess the growlers are a radial since he said AT

Ya there radial. I am also looking at the Maxxis Trepadors. Bother are about the same price for the same sizes. Just gettin some opinions before I buy.
Derrrrr! I misread and did have bias rockers.

I still don't think you can beat a BFG A/T. They have had years and many dollars of research perfecting their tires.

Ya but from experience personal and friends, they don't go that well in the mud. I want an all terrain that is more aggressive than all terrain, but less than a mud turrain.

Ya, I am just looking for something a little more aggressive looking though. Oh well, don't have the money now anyway for tires since the pries are pretty high LOL.
