How much performance stuff do you have for FE engines?

I am not going to have enough cash to do the 460 swap in the 73 f-100 so i am looking for a performance camshaft, a 4bbl intake manifold, better 2wd c6 transmission etc....

Redeem your elitest ranger status by telling me you have some old ass FE parts still!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Shawn, I know i cant afford your transmission... What sucks is that stormy sold a fresh, never ran FE 2wd transmission with manual valve body and a hell of a shift kit in it, with aftermarket 2100-2300 stall converter for 400 bucks last summer... DOH.... I might have to look at the intakes and see if either of them float my fancy..... I am looking for the adjustable style rockers for an FE engine, ill probably go to the junkyard and find a 352 or 390 in a big boat of a ford car and pop the v-covers to get a set and the rails and stands for them

got a 428 Service block 450 bucks.

1 got the hydraulic rocker shafts
2 about 10 pairs, maybe more of FE heads running from 65-72
3 got two iron intakes one is off my 69 and the other is from 65-66 Era,
4 I also have an aluminum Edelbrock dual plane
5 have a new double roller edelbrock timing chain from my 390 it has about 150 miles on it tops

I have much more stuff but can not remember what all I have for FE

I may be able to work out a deal with you on the trans

I wish I was only with my 67 now. I could go to a smaller place to rent and have it done in 2 years

What junkyard??? WHERE!?!?!?!

Adjustables weren't that common. Even used ones will seperate you from a Franklin at the least.

Atleast you have your own property to put all of your treasures on Don, i am just cluttering up other peoples property with all of mine!!!!!

Hwy Shawn, sounds good on working a deal on the transmission, ill talk to my transmission guy about cost of rebuilding the one that is in the truck, and then see how much haggling you are willing to do on the trans.. I would much rather give you my money than spend it with my transmission guy, aslong as the prices are close!!!!!!

John, I have no idea if they're still there or not, but a week or so before we dropped the FE in my bosses motorhome, there was a late 50's, early 60's F100 at Colorado Auto with a 352 with adjustable rocker arms.

I do not have any of my tools with me, but i was under the impression that every 352 engine had adjustable rocker arms.

But shit, i would go buy the tools to get them if needed.

Maybe ill take jamey out to colorado auto tomorrow morning.!!!!!!!!!!!! (Dude, she seriously likes going to the junkyard with me):D

Bring #1 to TDC, turn the crank an additional 45* (there might be a pair of Xs on the damper for this).

Working from left to right on each head, loosen rocker stand bolts in 1/8 turn increments until there is no load on assembly.

Take the pushrods, keep them seperate between intake and exhaust.

Numbers, pulled from the butt:

Crank bolt-15/16"
VC bolts-7/16"
Spark plugs-13/16"

Happy hunting!!!
