Wheel torque

I heard a clicking noise from the front driver wheel on the Ranger today. I checked and the lugs where loose.

Public service annoucement! Check you torque yearly....

Ford has just done a recall on them, My pregnant daughter in law was on way into the dealer to get it fixed when the front pass. wheel came off, passing a semi on the highway. Luckily she stopped somewhat safely and even tho she hit the steering wheel her and the baby are fine. It cost ford a full set of wheels and tires and repairing the brakes and suspension on that side. Check with ford on the recall.
