PFI in Fort Collins is doing another Dyno Day on Saturady!
"Dyno Day/Open House on the May 29th, 2004...$20 for a single pull, $10 for each additional pull (diesel trucks are $30 and $15 for each additional pull). So, if you have the chance bring down your current setup and see what it makes before the big races of 2004. We will have awards for highest horsepower import and domestic and the lowly award for lowest horsepower."
BTW, there is also going to be a model contest or bikini car wash..something like that that involves babes! :D

One of these days I'll get the truck on a dyno. I'm doing the wheel bearings tomorrow, so I'll be ready next time. Why the increased cost for diesels :?:

Your still trying to get your wheel bearings done??? You slacker!!! LOL j/k
Thats a good question on why diesels are more.... I am not sure but it might have something to do with a tach signal (for example-on a gas engine they just use one of your spark plug wires).
I wouldn't have anything to do with this shop if they didn't have a dyno, I have heard too many horror stories about stuff going on there and happening and whatnot. But then again they are mostly a import shop too.

Yeah, I'm a slacker. The bearings are getting bad enough that it made me nervous drivig on the freeway today, so the time has come.

A couple of years ago I had to replace my bearings. At first I did not think it was that bad and kept driving for a couple of weeks while it slowly got worse. Then one day they completely went out while on the freeway. I thought the front end of the truck was going to fall apart before I got home.

I'm still slacking. Mine just need to be adjusted on the back axel, but I need a special socket and new bolts to get it done, and it doesn't fit in the budget this pay period. At least I don't drive on the freeway on a normal basis.
