I'm no longer going to be using my Weatherguard toolbox. Make me an offer. It's good quality toolbox, I paid over $400 for it new. I have both keys, has weather proof locks on both sides. Does not need to be drilled into bedrails to be installed.

Damn Jeff,

I need one, but am broke as hell, so you'd laugh at any offers I could afford.

I saw on E-bay somebody starting bidding at $250. I would take $150.

Tray

That's what I mean. I can't even afford Doms for $100.

Jeff, if nobody here buys it, try posting it on fte.com and f150online that's where i found the guy that bought mine.

Sounds good. How did you ship yours or was it local?

Marty

well I'm in the market and the 150 price range is looking good to me, only question I have is weather it's gona fit a 99 F350. do you have some measurements that I can go off of?

Walking Eagle

It's at work, so later today I'll post some measurements.

jeff the guy that bought mine was from ft. collins, and second that should fit, the beds should be the same width.

Tray
11-18-2004, 07:38 AM
Yeah, it should fit fine. The tailgates are exactly the same on those trucks, so I don't see how the bed could be any wider up by the cab.

Walking Eagle

Height is 18 3/8 inches
Width is 20 5/8 inches
Lenght is 71 3/8 inches

Weatherguards website says it fits all full size 6 1/2 and 8 ft beds.

sounds good, when/where can I come take a look? or do you have pictures that you can post?

Walking Eagle

Currently it is in the warehouse at work. Tomorrow I will take pictures and post them tomorrow night. This weekend I'm busy Saturday and we have Toys for Tots on Sunday, and next week is going to be hectic at work, because of the holiday and we are closed part of the week. Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th, I can put it in the truck and meet you some where, if you are still interested after I post the pictures and want to see it in person.

Here are a couple of pictures. I've not washed it yet so it does have some dirt and mud. Also I was a dumbass and forgot to use the flash.

I posed in another picture with the toolbox, but you could not see the box in the background. I did not realize to get a picture of myself, it took two frames.

Marty

I will get pictures later this week, it's currently got my tool boxes and tow straps, etc. inside. I know we are going to be real busy Monday and Tuesday at work, so I may not have time until Wednesday to unload and snap a couple pictures. I am free this coming Saturday and Sunday so we can meet and let you take a look.

Marty

Marty, I've not forgotten about this. We were busier at work this week than expected. I've not had time to empty out the toolbox and clean it up.

Marty

No problem, let me know when you get around to it :)

Well, my dad just bought a brand new truck, and I took measurements, and this will fit. He asked me to ask you:
"I am very interested in your toolbox, and would like to know if there is anything broken on it.
I would like to take a look at it asap. Also, could I see the inside of it with a picture?
Thanks,
Craig "

Thanks,
Ryan

Walking Eagle
11-28-2004, 01:20 AM
Marty, you replied first, so you will get shot at the tool box first. I will not increase the price. I will definitely have in cleaned up this week and emptied out.

sweet so it's the 6.0L then? man thoes things are awesome!

rino351
11-28-2004, 02:32 PM
yeah, the 6.0 is sweet!
it has so much more power than the 7.3-- you can really notice a difference getting off the line at the stop light

edit: Oh, and btw our excursion has the 7.3 so now we have all the newest powerstrokes in the family!

Marty

Just a side note on the 6.0.......the old man has one and He's already gone through a turbo, granted he was pulling tripple with a fith wheel and boat, but a set of gauges might be a smart investment we were told by the dealer in pueblo that the 04's were having a simmalar problem where one of the inercooler pipes would pop off and dent the hood......just food for thought :?

Marty, this Saturday the 4th, Cory and I will be working on my truck where we work. If you would like to stop by and take a look at the tool box, we will be there at 10:30 for a few hours. The building is located at 4900 Colorado Blvd, Denver. It's one block north of I 70. Get off I 70, go north and take your first right turn. Then take an immediate left on the frontage road. We are the last building and we will be on the north side of the building where the dock is located.

turbo prob? it is most likly because of hot air. i would change the exhast to 4 1/2 in and a cold air intake. better gas millage and MORE POWER!!
lower air temps by at least 150.

Turbo hoses pop off alot of Fords and Dodges i know about. Also alot of bigger trucks and rigs too. I think anyone with a turob should have a boost gauge, and all extra hoses and fittings to repair any turbo hose blow off.
What kind of place do you work at Walking?

Marty

well Jeff, I'll see what I can do, how late are you guys working? I'll be on that end of town for work but it might be late afternoon.

Walking Eagle
12-04-2004, 08:03 AM
Marty, I found out that Cory and I will not be able to work at our place of business today. The boss and some other people are working today. Let me know if there is a good time to swing by your place tomorrow. The only thing I have going tomorrow is Christmas tree hunting, but I can do that either in the morning or afternoon.

Marty
12-04-2004, 08:14 AM
ok, well I won't know what all I have going on sunday untill tonight so I'll post again this evening. I'm all the way down in parker and I don't want to make you drive all the way out here, perhaps I can meet you half way or something.

Walking Eagle
12-04-2004, 08:54 AM
That's fine, I'll check back later tonight. I'm not real familiar when I go south of I 70, but is Park Meadows about half way. I've been there a couple of times.

Walking Eagle
12-04-2004, 10:01 AM
Marty, I also saw that you will be coming to the Christmas get together in two weeks, on the 19th. If you are in no hurry, I can bring the tool box then for you to look at.

Marty
12-04-2004, 10:16 PM
well park medows is a little over half way, and I'm in no hurry at all so if the x-mas party will work for you lets do that. The 350 should be running by then and that way I'll have something to put it in (cant fit it in my beater 89' skylark....lol) if I take it off your hands. plus be a nice early present to myself. :)

Marty
12-05-2004, 10:43 PM
