If not, I've got an open invite to my parents place for thanksgiving so if you don't have a place to go for thanksgiving, come spend it with us!

If you've never done it before, deep fry your turkey. Only takes about a hour. Best turkey ever. I've been doing it for 4 years now and I'll never go back

Tried that--
ended up without a patio anymore
(j/k)-- I have had that before, and it's not too bad.
I've heard that it's damn good, but the equipment we already have is free. Maybe some time in the future I'll work on the fryer deal.
And thanks for the offer Matt. Unfortunately I have been slated to bring the green bean casserole to my dysfunctional family get together. 20+ people gathering around wanting to take turns holding the new baby. Oh well, at least football will be on.

Yeah I want to a family function with an ex-girlfriend sometime a year or two ago, and they were fryin up a turkey, took a while (because when its in the oven you dont want to watch it, but for some reason when its being fried everyone wants to have a look, and a watched pot never boils!) but it did taste pretty good, I wouldn't say it was like a ton better then mom's turkey, but it was pretty good. A lot of oil to deal with though!
Don't worry Tray, I know what you mean. I figure the more friends I have there, the less I'll have to listen to bickering, though it is always fun to rip on my sister-in-law around the dinner table! LOL.
